Questo evento espositivo, insieme al premio per artiste donne esordienti, nasce in seno alla manifestazione annuale “Lune di Primavera” che da molti anni è organizzata dal Comitato 8 marzo in collaborazione con la Regione dell’Umbria, il Comune di Perugia e la Provincia di Perugia. Nell’attuale nuovo appuntamento, Lune di Primavera si è concentrata sull’arte visiva organizzando, come premesso, un concorso riservato ad artiste donne emergenti, la relativa mostra e una collettiva di artiste affermate.

Quest’ultima è allestita in alcune specifiche sale della bellissima Rocca Paolina ed è impostata su una tematica-base, generale ma non generica: la multiculturità, “L’accoglimento dell’altro da sé…. “- Come lo stesso titolo suggerisce – Io/Noi.., le artiste in mostra Adriana Amodei, Fiorella Corsi, Matia, Agnese Ricchi, Kan Shin-Duk, affrontano ognuna in maniera diversa, fedeli al proprio linguaggio e alla propria, questo argomento capitale riflettendo insistentemente sull’identità, il ruolo, la realtà femminile nell’attuale società multimediale, ipertecnologica e soprattutto pluriculturale.

This Event, together with the prize for female artists, is born within the annual event “Lune di Primavera” which for many years has been organized by the 8 march Committee in collaboration with the Region of Umbria, the Municipality of Perugia and the Province of Perugia.
In the current new appointment, Lune di Primavera has focused on visual art by organizing, as a premise, a competition reserved for emerging female artists, the related exhibition and a collective of established artists.

The latter is set up in some specific rooms of the beautiful Rocca Paolina and is based on a general, but not generic, theme: multiculturalism, “The acceptance of the other by oneself …” – As the title suggests – Io / Noi .., the artists on show Adriana Amodei, Fiorella Corsi, Matia, Agnese Ricchi, Kan Shin-Duk, each face in a different way, faithful to their own language and their own, this capital topic reflecting insistently on the identity, role and reality of women in today’s multimedia, hyper-technological and specially all multicultural society.

Il tema base è la “multiculturalità”, l’accoglimento dell’altro da sé, il Femminile nella globalizzazione.

L’opera The woman stone vuole essere una riflessione su un’immagine femminile realistica, complessa, ricca di sfaccettature e di contenuti profondi – umani, etici, culturali ma non solo una riflessione anche sulla ripetitività dei gesti, sull’accoglimento del dolore.

L’ installazione The Woman Stone è costituita da una sequenza di immagini video in movimento che deborda sulla parete di mattoni di una sala della Rocca Paolina di Perugia , contribuendo a realizzare un raccordo con lo spoglio ambiente circostante e il pavimento di terra battuta: rendendo così lo spazio “altro” da sé come lo è la femminilità delle figure femminili ritratte.

The basic theme is “multiculturality”, the acceptance of the other by the Feminine in globalization.

The work The woman stone wants to be a reflection on a realistic, complex female image, rich in facets and deep contents – human, ethical, cultural and also a reflection on the repetitiveness of gestures and the acceptance of pain.

The installation The Woman Stone consists of a sequence of moving video images that overflows onto the brick wall of a room in the Rocca Paolina in Perugia, helping to create a connection with the bare surrounding environment and the beaten earth floor: thus making the space “other” by itself like the femininity of the female figures portrayed.
